Introduction: This village is 2 km away from Karamsad and 7 km away from Vallabh Vidhyanagar, there can be travelled by bus from Anand. It is believed that it is named Gana after Ganai Mata. This village is straight without any lanes or corners. It is designed in such a way that it is easy to go from one bay to other. Shops are also in series. This village took much interest in 1930s in Satyagrah. To support the non co-operation moment, people left their properties and well to do homes and lived in the near border of Gayakwad. All the agricultural feed were robbed. Some of them faced much trouble living in open farms but did not pay taxes to british government. As a result were assaulted naked. Soul mates of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Vitthalbhai Patel were from this village.

Industries: Majorly this land grows grains and tobacco. There are 2 factories of tobacco and small – big 11 shops.

Religious Places: There are 2 different Patel Swaminarayan men & women. Then there is Ramji Temple, Kundalaja Mata, Mahadev Bhatikhatri Temple, Khodiyaar Mata, Parbadi, 2 hostels, Ganai Mata Temple, Temple of foot prints of Shriji Maharaj.
